Generally, you should receive your poster within 2-5 days of
the ship date and often 2-3 days. If you would like your poster

(6) How much is
shipping?
Shipping inside the US and Canada is $6.99 which covers
Priority Mail shipping and packing materials. $12.99 outside the US
and Canada. $15.49 in Asia. Note: Packages that are
shipped overseas that contain both rolled and flat posters (thereby
requiring double shipping), will be charged an additional $9. Again
this applies to shipments of both rolled one-sheets and flat posters
on overseas shipments only. (Examples of flat posters: folded
original posters.)
-top-
(7) Am I getting a
lower quality poster if it's folded, not rolled?
Not at all. The vast majority of older posters (before the
mid 1980s) have been factory folded. The movie theaters received
them folded from the factories, which is why they have been folded
so neatly. However, folded posters are no less attractive,
especially when framed. Pre-1980s original rolled posters are
rare and slightly higher in price. All Reprints,
recent originals (late eighties to present), and
Patriotic Prints come rolled or flat - not folded.
Please note: All reprints are listed as reprints in the item description.
All originals or re-releases are also listed as such in the description.
Recent originals are sometimes added to the
reprints section as well, but are clearly specified as
being original, in the item description.

(8) Do you have a
catalogue available?
Not at the present time. However, we have an
ever-increasing online searchable database. We have one of the
largest collections around. And what we have currently on our
website represents only a portion of our available material. So if
you don't find what you're looking for on our online database, don't
hesitate to call us at (281) 516-9000 or e-mail us at contact.php.

(9) What is the
difference between an original, a reprint and a re-issue
(re-release)?
An original is the first poster released when the movie
first came out. A re-release, also known as a re-issue, is a poster
made when the movie was brought back years later. A reprint is
an exact reproduction of the original or re-release poster.
Originals and re-releases generally increase in value over time.
Reprints do not. Originals cost more than re-releases. And reprints
generally will cost less than originals and re-releases.

(10) What are the
sizes of your posters?
Here is our Movie Poster Size-Glossary:
- One-sheet -- 27" x 41"
- Insert -- 14" x 36"
- Half-sheet -- 22" x 28"
- Three-sheet -- 41" x 81"
- Six-sheet -- 81" x 81"
- Window Card -- 14" x 22"
- Australian Daybill -- 14" x 30"
- Title Card -- 11" x 14" (The first card in a set of 8
that is set up like a small movie poster)

set that shows scenes from the film)
- Lobby Set -- 11" x 14" (The complete set of lobby cards
which includes Title Card and 7 Scene Cards)
- Still -- 8" x 10" photo, showing actors either in
scenes from the movie or posed shots - usually in B&W. Whole
sets tend to be very large in quantity)
Incidentally, we only sell Lobby Cards as a set, unless
there is a card missing from the set, in which case we may sell them
individually. Also, all Reprint sizes are approximate and
may vary slightly. If the exact size is of critical importance to
you, you can call us at (281) 516-9000 or email us at contact.php.

(11) How does your
rating system work?
We follow the standard rating system, with posters ranging
from "Mint" down to "Fair," which is the lowest rating. We tend to
be conservative in our ratings, such that people often receive a
poster rated Near Mint that could have been called Mint.
The ratings are as follows from best to worst:
- Mint
- Near Mint
- Fine to Near Mint
- Fine
- Very Good to Fine
- Very Good
- Good to Very Good
- Good
- Fair

(12) What is an
Australian Daybill?
It is a 14"x30" poster from a film's original release in
Australia. Older daybills featured stone lithography and were often
more attractive than the American version. More recent daybills
(70's to the present) frequently use the same artwork and graphics
as the American posters.
-top-
(13) What is an
"Advance" or "Teaser" poster?
This is a poster designed to elicit interest
in an upcoming film. A regular design poster comes out later with
different graphics and credits at the bottom.
-top-
(14) What is a
"Commercial" poster?
It is a slightly smaller poster than a full-sized 1-Sheet,
which we usually have at a lower price.
-top-
(15) Do you buy
movie posters?
We certainly do. We constantly buy old and new movie
posters, lobby cards, stills, etc. if the price is
right.
-top-
(16) What is a lobby
card?
A lobby card is an 11"x14" card, usually coming in sets of
8. Lobby cards are very collectible because of their size. The first
card (or "Title Card") often shows more graphics than the the other
cards and is the most desirable card. The other 7 cards show scenes
from the movie with the title underneath.
-top-
(17) What is a
1-Sheet?
A 1-Sheet is a full-sized poster. Original 1-Sheets are
the same posters found in theaters. Prior to the mid-80's, all
1-Sheets measured 27x41 inches. After the mid-80's, 1-Sheets
measured 27x40 inches. 1-Sheets can be originals or
reprints.
-top-
(18) What is a
Still?
A Still is an 8x10 inch photo, either in color or B&W.
Stills can be originals or reprinted. Some stills show scenes from a
movie; others are posed shots of the actor/actress, usually taken on
the movie set.

(19) Why, after adding an item to my cart, is the
item now listed as "Out of stock?"
This is to guarantee that the item cannot be sold to someone else while you are shopping. However,
the item is in your cart, is in stock, and can be ordered by going through the ordering process.
-top-
(20) Why is there a quantity of only 1 on all your posters?
The quantity box does not show the amount in stock. This is where you would indicate how many of the
posters you want to order.
-top-
(21) My order was declined. How can I get the order to go through?
A decline is usually due to an incorrect billing address. To correct billing information, go to "Confirm Items" in green, near the top of the page
or View Cart at top left and re-enter billing address as it appears on your credit card statement.
